Grovity Selected for Tampa Bay Wave's 2026 Tech|X Accelerator

Grovity has been selected for the 2026 Tech|X Accelerator at Tampa Bay Wave, powered by The Nielsen Foundation. We are one of 15 startups in the ninth year of Wave’s flagship program.

Tampa Bay Wave is a nonprofit startup accelerator and innovation community based in Tampa, Florida, running zero-equity programs since 2008. Tech|X alumni have raised $375 million and created 1,600 jobs since 2018.

“Tampa Bay Wave remains at the forefront of driving innovation and fostering the next generation of tech disruptors.” — Linda Olson, President and CEO, Tampa Bay Wave

The team behind Grovity

Wave introduced the four co-founders building Grovity: Manuel Steremberg, CEO; Samuel Urquijo, COO; Miguel Urquijo, CPO; and Juan Esteban Rios, CTO.

In Wave’s words: “Grovity is developing an enterprise platform that enables organizations to deploy and manage AI-powered digital workforces. We’re proud to support their work in advancing automation and operational efficiency.”

That is the work in one line. Grovity lets companies deploy and manage digital workers that operate across channels and systems — connecting to existing infrastructure with minimal friction or custom IT buildout, and getting measurably better over time.

The cohort

The 2026 Tech|X cohort spans health technology, financial technology, AI and enterprise automation, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing. Alongside Grovity: Cabana, Casera, CryptoMate, Hybron, Kneu, LastMinute, Listra.ai, Loyalink, Opalite Health, Rahm Sensor Development, Stakeholders Sustainability Index (SSINDEX), Surgicure Technologies, TechNovaTime, and Vetavize — with founders drawn from MIT, Harvard, and Oxford, and from Apple, Amazon, and Boeing.

Why it matters

For a Miami-based company building the AI workforce, Tech|X puts us inside one of Florida’s densest startup networks — with mentorship, investor access, and a cohort solving hard problems in adjacent industries. It is a place to pressure-test what we are building against people who will tell us the truth.
